Nutrition a Quick Intro
Our feed gives the majority of energy and nutrients to our chickens.
These nutrients include the protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals and of course water.
The proteins are needed for the manufacturing and maintenance of tissues, including muscles, bones and feathers. Feathers are about 99% protein. Aside from these, protein is also as the source of energy when the chickens needed an energy burst for a short period.
Carbohydrates are needed for the general energy that the chickens need. Also the microorganism in the body are fueled by carbohydrates. Vitamins and minerals are needed for growth, development and maintenance, and will be some of the resources of that the organs or systems of the body needed to do their job. Aside from these, they can naturally stimulate certain systems of the body.
